DEBEAT Swing

DEBEAT Swing is a dance school in Zaragoza, specialized in swing and dedicated to spread the joy and energy of this musical and dance style. We were in charge of redesigning their corporate identity with the purpose of creating an image that would reflect the dynamism and passion for dance that characterizes the school. The project ranged from the creation of a new naming, which captured the essence of DEBEAT, to the development of a visual language full of color and movement.
DEBEAT needed a visual identity that not only spoke of dance, but also projected the vitality, rhythm and sense of community that is experienced in their classes and events. The new image had to connect with a diverse audience looking for fun, while still conveying professionalism and quality instruction.
The redesign of the identity included the creation of a new name that plays with the rhythm and pulse of the music, evoking both the beat and the energy of swing. From this concept, we developed a vibrant visual language, where illustrations of fluid strokes, spots of color and dynamic typography reflect the movement of the dance. We also designed all the corporate material, from business cards to stationery, achieving a coherent and lively identity that perfectly encapsulates the joyful spirit of DEBEAT Swing.
