At socio.studio, every now and then we decide to take a break, put our day-to-day screens aside and dust off Carlos’s Super Nintendo. Yes, complete with its cartridges, its wired controllers, its Mario Kart and its Donkey Kong.

Why do we do it?
It’s not just about passing the time or playing for the sake of it (though we won’t deny that we love it). For us, pop culture, the classic video games we grew up with and 90s design are the foundation of our creativity.
Those games managed to captivate us with very limited resources. This is a great reminder that, sometimes, less is more.

At socio.studio, we look to the future with our eyes wide open, whilst holding on to the essence that gave us our start. Because true innovation doesn’t destroy the past; it makes it evolve.
