Discover ‘Kennel’

A few months ago at Socio.Studio, we began developing a project of our own that came straight from the heart; we wanted to pay tribute to the most loyal members of our team. That’s how Kennel came about – our most free-spirited and personal project.

Coco and Bimbo are Socio.Studio’s dogs. Every morning they come through the door alongside their owners and go about their routine just as we humans do.

Over time, just like any of us, they’ve developed their own routines and habits. Some are commonplace, others more special; some old ones are forgotten and new ones are picked up. But ultimately, these little glimpses of everyday life define the moments of comfort in our daily lives and remind us of the beauty in the ordinary.

What is Kennel?

Kennel is a portrait of those moments. It is a ‘slice of life’ created from an innocent perspective, completely free from deadlines, budgets or productivity targets.
It serves as a reminder of why we do what we do. A way of creating value beyond the purely monetary; it is the embodiment of what has always, and with great pride, been called ‘for the love of art’.

Hundreds of frames, a year of painstaking work

Behind this piece lies not a linear production process, but a slow-cooked process of digital craftsmanship. Over the past year, hours upon hours have been invested in sporadic sessions, stealing time from chaos to devote it to pure creativity.
The result is the product of placing, one by one, hundreds of key frames, sound effects and video clips. But, above all, it is the result of an immeasurable amount of care, dedication and passion for creating something new with our own hands, eyes and minds.
We invite you to pause the rhythm of your day for a minute, to forget about your notifications and to sit with us to observe life through the eyes of Coco and Bimbo and enjoy the comfort of everyday life.
