The University of Barcelona, one of the most recognized academic institutions in the country, decided to update their visual communication to better adapt to the digital environment. They contacted TwoPoints.Net studio, and that’s when they called us to join in the project. Together, we set out to create a graphic system that would respect the institutional character of the UB, but at the same time be modern, flexible and easy to use in newsletters, social networks and other day-to-day media.
The main challenge was that there was no coherent visual line between print and digital media. Each department organized itself as it could, and that generated confusion, both for the internal team and for its audience. The previous system, designed primarily for print, did not work well on digital platforms, making it difficult to convey a clear, unified and professional image.
The solution was to develop, together with TwoPoints.Net, an adaptable visual system, easy to apply and with common sense. We created dynamic templates that allow information to be sorted by category, and we implemented it all in Adobe Express so that anyone on the team could use it without any technical knowledge. In addition, we trained more than 100 employees to get the most out of it. The result is a more agile, coherent communication that is aligned with what an institution like the University of Barcelona represents.
